Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt - No, they're not adopting again, at least I don't think so, but what they are doing is equaly cool in my opinion. The Jolie-Pitt crew have been seen exploring Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam to allow their adopted son, Pax a chance to get reconnected to his birth country and culture. The Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute November 2009, report Beyond Culture Camp: Promoting Healthy Identity Formation in Adoption found that birth country travel as well as same race adult role-models are key in developing a healthy racial identity.
Pax is now 7 and was adopted back in 2007, when he was only 3 1/2. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together, three birth children and three internationally adopted children. They stated in an interview that they want their children to be proud of their culture and to get to know each of their sibling's cultures as well.
South Park - In case there are fans of South Park out there, I have to take a moment to mention that tomorrow's newest episode, "The Poor Kid," Kenny and his siblings will be placed in foster care after his parents are arrested. Watch for this episode on Comedy Central, Wednesday, November 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
