After only 10 hours of deliberation, Casey Anthony, who was charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child, and four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer, has been acquitted of murder. She has been found guilty of the four misdemeanor charges of giving false information to police.
What an unbelievable case. On July 15, 2008, 2-year-old Caylee Marie Anthony was reported missing after she had been missing for more than a month. Grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called 9-1-1 to first report that her daughter, Casey Anthony, had stolen a car and some money, then later called to report that Caylee was also missing. A child's skeletal remains were found less than a half mile from the home of Caylee Anthony's grandparents.� DNA testing confirmed the identity of the remains to be that of Caylee Anthony. The case took on numerous twists and turns as Casey Anthony changed her story numerous times regarding what had happened to her daughter.
